The high precision tungsten carbide
ball gauge gives focused contact area and very good feel which is quickly communicated.
Roughness, bell-mouthing and taper are easily detected. Ideal for high precision go/nogo gauging.The carbide ball is virtually inert, providing rugged resistance to impact, wear, temperature, humidity and corrosion.
A ball under 4mm is brazed to a stem, over this diameter the ball has a spark eroded hole into which is fixed a matched ground pin to ensure precision and performance.
